About BNTAC
Thanharru,
Welcome to BNTAC
Welcome to BNTAC
Established in 2013, the Banjima Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (BNTAC) was created to address the needs of the Banjima people. We deliver programs and services aimed at providing Banjima people with the resources to live strong, prosperous, and self-determined lives.
Governed by a board of 7 Banjima members and 1 Independent Director, BNTAC operates under their guidance, receiving recommendations and cultural insights. This collaborative leadership empowers both BNTAC and our dedicated staff to undertake endeavours that hold deep significance for the Banjima people, ensuring their well-being and progress are at the forefront of everything we do.

Country
Banjima Country is in the central Pilbara region of Western Australia and covers more than 1 million hectares of land. The Banjima People continue to have a strong bond to this ancient landscape and the unique places within it. The majority of our Banjima community now live across Western Australia, from Perth to the Pilbara’s regional centres of Karratha, Roebourne, Onslow, Broome and Port Hedland, and in several remote Pilbara communities such as Youngaleena, Wirrilimarra, Wakathuni, Peedamulla, Bidiltha and Bardulanha.
